Annual Presentation to Sponsors 2009

The Bo'ness Real Ale Festival is successful not only because it's a great weekend and everyone enjoys themselves but because each year all the barrels and almost everything else is sponsored by local companies.

Many of them of have been supporting us during all our 10 years. And, without them BRAAS and the festival would not be as successful as it has become.

As important, BRAAS would not have been able to donate over £10,000 over the years to local groups and organisations almost all of them involved in youth related activities without their help and support.

Presentation of Tankards

At about this time each year they are invited along to our local, the Riverview Bar & Restaurant, and are presented with a commemorative tankard with the year's theme logo and their commemorative certificate (the one that hangs over their sponsored barrel on the bar).

And, they get to enjoy a traditional pint and a pie into the bargain!

Almost half were able to attend and it all seemed to go just 'tickety-boo' as the Big Yin would say (below is the full list of sponsors who supported the 2009 festival):-
