BRAAS helps Linlithgow Marches setup new festivalThe Linlithgow Marches held in on the First Thursday after the Second Tuesday in June (don't ask me why) is an annual event to mark the boundary of the burgh stretching from 'The Brig' (Linlithgow Bridge) in the West to Blackness in the East.
New Beer Festival The organisers felt it would be a good idea to have a beer festival but without any experience asked BRAAS if they could provide both our bar and help with the setting-up, commemorative glasses and with the ordering of the beer. Needless to say BRAAS were both enthusiastic and delighted to help. A great success Starting off relatively small with only 6 barrels over one evening it turned out to be a great success and from opening at about 7pm ran out of beer at about 10.15pm. There is every likelihood that it will become an annual part of The Marches celebrations and another real ale festival for us all to enjoy so watch out for the details next year!
